I have 2002 volvo S80 T6 2.9 I am looking for best oil filter that will last long miles even though I usually like to change my oil between 3000-4000 sometimes I forget and go between 5000-7000 so looking for a good heavy duty oil filter to be safe. any recommendation?

 

A filter that filters to a more fine level than another will plug up if you go too long on an oil change.

And a filter that filters to a less fine level will let more crap through.

So just change your oil and don't worry so much about the filter. I personally buy OEM, but I get a discount so it's only like $7.
