2004 S80 Dashboard display goes dead, sometimes
My mother 3.2 I6 04 S80 (the first year after the redesign) has repeatedly lost dashboard display, power windows, ...
Sometimes she would start the car and the dashboard and power features won't come up, then on its own, the problem would go away and a month or so later, the same thing would happen again. The dealer replaced the ignition system, I think some main computer controls. For a few months the car has been fine. Then yesterday it came back. The car has 70,000 miles, under an extended warranty and I don't think the dealer knows what is wrong.
Has anyone seen a problem like this?

But when it all works normally does the ABS light stay on?
I am thinking maybe the ABS module is bad. That will make the dash to wacky things.
