Hi All,

Had my S80 for a few months now but after some bad weather with lots of surface water the radio and 12v sockets started randomly turning off and now they have stopped working completely. I have checked all of the fuses in fact I got my brother to test every fuse in the car and they all seem fine. I found that the CD changer will still eject the CD's but it won’t take them back. Really hope someone can help driving in silence is driving me crazy

 

Did you ever find a solution to this issue? I have the exact same problem with my 2006 s80, with the addition of the passenger side power seat not working. I checked all of the fuses including the 50 amps next to the battery.

 

I got an auto electrician to look at it, we found there were 2 lives going into the radio but one was dead, he thought it was a issue with the fuse box so added a new live for me and put a new fuse adapter in my fuse box, all working since then but only when the engine is running. only cost me £30 though so i was happy with the result.
