It is located on the left side of the air box if you are facing the car. It will have hoses going to the turbo.

It's Plug and play. What is your "issue"?

Does the car lack power? Does the code come back after you clear it?

Rarely have I replaced a bad tcv.

Anytime I had a bad TCV my car would overboost (gauge would go to 20+psi very fast) This happened with 2 TCV's (over 2 years) before upgrading to the HD TCV from IPDUSA but I was also running about 50% more boost than stock. Oil in the lines can also gum up the valve over time.

Boost gauge was the best diagnostic tool I installed on my car.

lack power... i can really say i just bought the car so i don't have a reference point, there is a check engine light, when i clear the p0243 code the light goes away but came back every time.

IPD PCV is actually more reliable than the oem one?

tape a boost gauge to the windshield - and see what is going on with the boost.

It uses a heavier duty control valve on the internals, I just replaced the ****** fittings on it with brass ones because I didn't like the plastic. The stock TCV for my old car was only rated for 12psi MAX, which was my running PSI so I needed to get something stronger for that reason. And like hoonk said, get a way to monitor boost to see what is going on before buying anything
