My 2008 s80 3.2 with just over 80k miles on it would loose pressure when accelerating and pick up again after a while, I have scanned it, and it tells me low fuel pressure or fuel rail sensor. I have changed the fuel rail, changed the fuel rail sensor and even changed the fuel pump and I'm still having the same issues. Please I urgently need help and direction if this can be solved.

 

I am the original owner of a 2008 Volvo S80 3.2 and have experienced the same issues issues for many years. Now with 213,000 miles, my check engine light has been going on and off for many of these years. The codes revealed the same issue that you are experiencing. My repair shop initially said it wasn't a concern and that I didn't need to do any repairs at that time. Today, I do experience the occasional loss of power that you noted but maybe only a few times a year. I just take my foot off the accelerator for a moment and gently reapply pressure and the issue goes away and the vehicle provides acceleration. I still have spent nothing on repairs nor has it been bad enough issue for me to throw money in time at.
