Having recently bought a 2010 S80 2.0d (PSA engine), I'm slowly going about the regular maintenance and checking everything.
While doing so, I've noticed that one of the brackets that holds one of the power steering hoses is broken. I've looked everyone and I can't find the right part to replace it.
I've attached a couple of pictures with the location of said bracket, can someone point me to the right direction? It's on the left side of the engine, looking from the front of the car.
I'm also looking for the rubber grommets that hold the plastic engine cover, one of them is missing and the cover makes a lot of noise vibrating.
I own several Toyota vehicles and it's a lot easier to find the right parts for them, I use the epc-data.com website, it has all the diagrams and schematics, I've recently rebuilt the 2ZZ-GE on the Celica and I can find all the parts in there.
Is there something similar for Volvo's?
I also have a scrapping metal sound when turning the steering, nothing major, coming from the brakes area, is this something common or...? I probably have something stuck behind the brake shield but...
Many thank in advance for any help.
And I wish you all many, many miles of trouble free motoring! These are amazing, bulletproof tanks... I mean, cars!
