Default 99 S80 18K--shall I buy for 13K?

Hello, I'm a new poster, but have read many things here. I especially appreciate Tech's contributions. Here is my question--I have found a 99 Volvo S80 T6, 18K(!), seller is asking $13,000 (clean reports). I have read many things about their horrible reliabilities, and I am especially disgusted by the fact that having a very good understanding of cars--this is one that I would have a hard time tinkering with in my garage.

Please give me some advice. And I would like Tech to help me out as well, please sir.

One final question. If the mycarstats.com is showing 4 recalls for this model, will all four recalls be honored at my Volvo dealership. The Volvo for sale does not have a warranty for obvious reasons.

Make sure condition and whatnot is good. I actually looked at an S60 T6 earlier this year 99 model 79,000K miles for a little short of $9000 but at the end the overall condition made me pass (the only thing it had over my current S80 was being turbo that's it).

13000 is a low mileage for 99 model. I wonder what the previous owner was doing with the car.

The carneeds to be driven once in a while, at least once in a week.

If the car runs fine, then I would go for it.
You may expect to have some electrical problems and high maintenance cost.

According to my understanding, all recall are valid if it had not performed on the car.

As for should you or not; well, if you have been a reader on here, then it's entirely a personal choice at this point. I consider mine with 48K on it now as low mileage. But I'm having my big shares of Volvo troubles. Read my signature below and got my opinion. Good Luck! (Some other cars, I would had said congratulations, but this one...)
