Need help with my 1999 S80. The key will not unlock the drivers side door. I don't think it's the actuator because the remote and the lock button from the inside works fine at locking/unlocking. It's just the key that does nothing! I don't get it? Any ideas?!

 

what exactly does your key do when you insert it in the lock cylinder on the drivers door? does the key work on the passenger side door ?

 

I can turn the key both ways freely, but nothing happens. I don't believe there is a key hole on the passenger side door.

 

I would guess that if you remove the door panel you will find that the linkage that goes between the lock cylinder and the door latch is seperated, hope this helps.
