I'm thinking about replacing this myself on a 2000 S80 T6, the ABS STC message is more frequent now and the car is close 125K miles.What is recomended, purchase a rebuilt unit from say FCP or ship to Vic Rocha for repair?
Also,I read somewhere that if it is a DSTC then in can't be repaired, how does one tell which the car has?

I was searching to find the best option for me to deal with this issue and found that ironically BBA Reman is 15 minutes from my house; I called and asked if I can walk in with the ABS Module for repair, the rep said yes, and 2 business days to have it done.

 

Good for you. I used BBA for a reman on my sons 850 ABS module. No problems since.

 

Just wanted to post I'm anothee BBA satisfied customer. I ordered an ABS module for my 99 s80 non turbo & all the messages from brake failure to power steering failure & ABS are all cleared & used my boys code checker to clear the check engine & Im doin great. I even took my Trip to Honesdale PA. Great ride going & coming now I have to send the old unit to BBA & It's a wrapp lol. I hope you can find the prob, It's a relief not to see those damm messages lol
