Default ABS Control Module

I am thinking about replacing my ABS Control Module in about a month to two months when I have the money because the car seems like it has a mind of its own... It works one minute and then the next it wont, but the breaks still work. Thankfully. :-D I posted previously about this on the old forums but I lost my information about how to get a refurbished one. The dealer said that I could get a referb for about $100 depending on what type it is. He did not know right off hand what the labor would be but he guessed that it would be about $500. Does this sound right or is this a little fishy?

I have a 2001 S80 and had my ABS Mod rebuilt by BBA-REMAN just google BBA-REMAN and you will find it. It was about 90.00 1 1/2 years ago. I took it off and put it on myself very easy to do. Freight and all about 125.00 If you dont wont to take it off yourself any shade tree mech should do it for no more than 60.00 I sent mine off on a Friday and had it back in my hands the following Thursday No problems since. Put a plastic bag over the tubes to keep dirt out and you can drive the car while it is being fixed
