Unhappy Abs failure light

I have a 1999 Volvo S-80 recently the Abs-brake failure light has been coming on intermittently. When this happens the odometer, tachometer, speedometer and oil pressure gauge stop working. The car drives fine. A brake specialist said the brakes are fine. A local garage that specializes in
Volvos changed the Abs module, but the problem persists. Anyone with similar experience?

Welcome to VF. Do you happen to have a Check engine light?

I'm glad I read this. I posted a little bit ago (minutes) asking for similar guidance. In fact, the mechanic guy I mentioned told me I'd probably have to get a Volvo specialist (dealer) to do exactly what you said you had done -- replace the ABS module -- which did not work for you!

I really loved my Volvo for five years.... Now, it's making me very sad. I am very disappointed in a company that uses trickery to force patrons to spend price-gouging amounts to fix simple problems.
