Tech, I'm doing an oil change on my S80 non turbo and I have a question on oil additives. I've used them for years on my truck and was wondering if it is advisable to use them in the wife's S80. I use the restore stuff since it's got about 100K miles and the S80 has 95K now.

 

You can try it Volvo doesn't reccomend any additives at all even fuel additives.

If it were me I would try it.

 

sounds good, it'll give it a try, it worked good on my dodge. On the Oil leak I've been dealing with, I changed the plugs this week and found oil under the spark plug cover all around the coils. where could it be comming from. Really weird leak, cant find the source.

 

Oil Cap seal and possible clogged Vent box.

 

hey tech, took off the seal on the oil cap, cleaned it and turned it around (it worked!) seems like the oil leak has stopped, I think the air box is probably clogged too, so i gotta look into buying that
