Default Another S80 Turbo Question

Are the turbos set up to spool sequentially or is it an equal-load set up?

I do believe they spool up sequentially.

I don't know. I mean I would suggest them being the same size turbos and everything else.

Turbos WHY ?I would only put two turbos on a v6 or v8. Since there is only one exhaust manfold on 5cyl volvo. why would you put two turbos on it ? Get a t3-t4 garret. If you go too big it would take like 3500 rpm for it to spool up. The turbos would have to be lined up to get equal pressure from the exhaust. You would have to do alot of piping . Not worth it, get one good turbo watercooled. For instance i have a t-4 on a ford 2.3l merkur xr4ti and it took 3000 rpmfor it to spool up after gutting exhaust 3' manderal bent down pipeand porting ,i have it back down to 2500 rpm. 23 bar. And dry 50 shot of NOS.

Just so you know this car has an inline 6 cylinder with 2 exhaust manifolds and 2 turbo's already.
