Audio quit working 2012 S80
Drove the 2012 S80 this weekend. Radio was working fine for the 2 hour drive, no past history of problems, Went out to leave started the car, radio came showing chanells on but no sound checked all the setting. Found a fuse had blown F-17 I think 15 amp.
Replaced the blown fuse and still no sound. Any one else had a problem like this? Thanks in advance.

something had to blow the fuse - so I'd check if it blew again then check wiring, unplug the amp/head unit to see if the fuse stays good to determine if its one of the components that is drawing too much current etc. Do you hear any sound - ie crackling etc ?
I replaced the fuse and checked all of them in the box under the Glove Box. I do not know where the amp/head unit is located. Inform me of where it is and I will give it a try. or where to find it in the manual
Dunno about where it may be for your model - Google around online or check out a car audio retailer like Crutchfields to see if they have any installl guides. Also see if there's any model specific Youtube vids. Last resort would be to see if you can find a VIDA software download on eBay (for the 2014 and prior models). Usual hiding places are in the dash, under the front seat or in the trunk...
