Book Maintenance Reminder (37,500)
Hi:
I am new to this and I'm hoping someone can help answer my Q. I have an S80 V8, I looked up how to reset the Service Reminder but after changing "just" the oil, I can seem to get it to go off. I have a push in starter not a "key". I have tried several ways but the reminder keeps coming on. I could use any suggestions you may have verse going back to the dealer.
Thank you~

I just "learned" how to do this myself.
1. Stick key into car
2. Make sure T1 button (mileage setting ) is displayed
3. With Foot off Brake -Press start engine
4.Engine will Not start but T1 will be displayed on dash.
5.Use right hand thumb & press in on T1 button & hold (it may imprint your thumb holding it)
6.Press Start engine again with Foot off Brake..wait...wait, wait..
7. the letter "i" in dashboard will flash when it starts to flash release thumb from T1 button.
[You may now take key out from car once No more messages is displayed.
Car dash may cut off completely during this process don't be alarmed.]
Hope this helps.
