Thumbs up Solved: Check Engine Light, No Codes

The Check Engine Light came on yesterday. I scanned it today with my ODBII scanner, but it shows the light is off and no codes are stored. Car starts and runs fine.

I wonder if I need a special VIDA DICE scanner, or what my best course of action might be. All help is appreciated.

Is it the check engine light or the service engine light?

Thanks for your reply! It is the Check Engine Light. I updated my easyOBDII software on my laptop and now shows P2407. After research including this forum, I found my fuel (gas) cap seal is old and cracked all around. eeuroparts has the seal for $7.99 Let's hope this will fix the problem.
