I can set my cruise and it will work fine for maybe 20 miles more or less it will then just disengage. I can turn the cruise off and start all over again. Any one have any thoughts on this

 

Thats funny it is all controlled by the computer.
Do you have a check engine light?

 

NO CIL You can set the cruise go about 20 miles more or less and it just disengages. Turn cruise off and reset it will work again for a while

 

Maybe the brake pedal sensor or something like that is seeing and intermitent fault.

 

funny you should mention.. The other day i was driving along and engages the autopilot button (im talking about the one that just makes "cruise control" display on the panel) but nothing happened... the light didnt come on and i couldnt engage my speed as usual.. I figured it was broke and didnt mess with it anymore.. but later that day it worked fine and has worked since.

 

I wonder if it is a start of a steering wheel module problem.

 

I have the same sort of problem...sometimes I will be driving along and the cruise will just shut off however the word "cruise" will still be on the dash. I will have to hold the + button down for along time to get it to come back on if it does at all. Other times I will start the car and no matter how many times I press the cruise button it will not display "cruise" on the dash. If I shut the car off and start it again "cruise" will appear on the dash again. Any suggestions???

 

Here are the codes... I got the dealer to pull them while doing my SRS module. All the ones with black stars beside them are related to the Cruise issue they said. I am not sure where to start.
