Default Dead S80

My 2008 S80 t6 just went COMPLETELY dead. Went to start it and when I touched the brake pedal everything on the car shut down. No lights, horn, locks or anything else. After about 10 minutes the lights came on and when I touched the brake it all shut down again. As it sits now it's 100% dead, it will not recognize any key fob or manual signal ie pushing the lock button in the door does nothing.
The car has never had any issues and this happened an hour after driving it 150 miles.

Any ideas?

Default Dead S80 (2008)-New Twist

Tonight (after working hours) my wife and I were 20 miles away from home and the S80 wouldn't start. No reaction when the starter button was pressed. When I tried to get the key fob out, it wouldn't come and I got the message to put the gear shift in Park (it already was). What to do? Call AAA? Finally I decided to find the fuse for the "start/off" button (#27 under the glove box). I pulled it and left it out for a couple minutes. Put it back in and bingo, the car started right up. The computer rebooted .

We have been having problems with the door locks working/not working and the doors don't lock at 10 mph anymore. Dealer had told me that an electronic control module had failed. "Get it fixed when it bothers you (for $400+). Monday the car goes to the dealer to get fixed!

Dealer reprogrammed the "module" and we drove away. $110 poorer.

I have noticed that updates for the system are not included in the printed schedule for maintenance. Seems like they should do that routinely at the times for major maintenance.
