It seems that cold weather really effects the door locks on my S80.
They don't work or will work sometimes and other times it doesn't

It seems to be a wiring/electrical issue since it works with the key from outside but doesn't unlock/lock the doors from the switch on the door panel of either door.

Has anyone experienced the same issue?
What do you think is wrong?

My 2000 T6 has all kinds of door lock problems while using the key fob. I have to be right next to the drivers door in order for it to unlock. I can be fiftly feet away to lock it though.

 

They are real funny with the switches on the doors. The Door switches are actually a computer.

They will do that from time to time. It is pretty much the nature of the beast.
