The wrong type of gas (ethanol-based) has been pumped into the S80. Using siphon seems futile as the siphon doesn't seem to get into the bottom of the tank. Is there a way to siphon the wrong fuel out? Is it possible to drain the fuel from the bottom of the tank; if so, how do I do it? There seems to be a cap underneath but I might not open it right. Thanks.

 

About the only way to do it is disconnect the fuel filter and hotwire the pump to drain.

 

You could also use a pump. Did it on a benz that was filled with really old benz. Not a cheap solution at all, but if you have access to a pump that is an option.
