I have a 2002 S80 and the engine is shaking and bogging down at idle. It doesn't seem to be too much loss of power but when I come to a stop, the engine shakes. The CEL is blinking also and its reading multiple misfire codes. I have changed and gapped new spark plugs at .028 and i have also checked the coils. The coils have all been changed within the last year. The engine is bogging down so much that it's very difficult to notice a change is the engine running when I'm checking the coils. Is there a way to test the coils with a device rather than unplugging them to listen for a change in the engine? Also, what device would i use to do that? I have also cleaned the MAF sensor as well. I dont know too much about cars and i am only going by what i have learned on here and other sites. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may be the issue? Thanks!

 

hmm what about engine mounts..you can physically check to see if its loose???

What did you use to clean the MAF sensor?

 

I have the same thing going on. Could are good. Changed plugs that were good just to be sure. 1,2,5 misfire. Won't even stay running now
