Default "engine system service urgent"

today while driving at 60, I gave the car some gas and this message came on and would not allow the car to go past 2000rpms, if I tried car would shake/buckle. I had to baby the acceleration, anytime past 2000revs it would buckle/shake. Restarted the car ran fine but message stilll there. My map sensor is unplugged because it needs to be replaced and it runs better unplugged. Could this be the throttle body or mass air flow sensor?

will have codes posted later.

Default P0238

The code I found says P0238 is the Turbo Boost Sensor Circuit "A" High.

map sensor = Turbo boost sensor, see my thread on it, its recent, go to dealer or find it online, volvo calls it boost sensor, the rest of the sane world calls it map sensor, IF thats what the code says

easy to get to, kind of a pain to change cause its in there pretty good, good luck

yeah I replaced the map sensor 2 weeks ago and everything normalized... I think because I had it unplugged for a while it triggered my Engine system service message... It was ridculously easy to get too !
