Default front shield

So right under my front bumper (directly under) is the plastic shield that protects the undercarriage of the car. It broke on one side, and the plastic hung down while I Was driving, and the rest fell off.

Is that an expensive piece to replace?(hard to do)?

thanks

There are a couple of plastic covers/deflectors under the car, not sure exactly which one you need.

The big one, marked 1 is a splash shield, it runs around $280.

I saw it was hanging under my car (one front corner piece was hanging), I just so happened to forget my cell phone.... and I drove onto the highway... mistakingly cut someone off - even put my hand up in the rearview and was like my bad'.. long story short they followed me... I lost them at a high rate of speed, at a certain speed it ripped off and went crunch under the wheels.. The corner that came off first was the top right corner, so that when the wind would get there it would ride up into it and pulled the rest off im guessing.... I think I am going to buy the volvo phone that sits in the car because that way I will have it always, anyone know how much those go for?

I don't think they are necessary, not for how expensive they are. Mine was gone when I bought it.

yeah, im kinda leaning towards not getting one after I heard the price for the PLASTIC shield lol. If I find one on line that is cheap i will probably get it. Any of you find the part online?

I get allot of people "following" me as well. It's as if they have never seen a V before. lol

I would check with your local auto dismantlers, before you check with the dealership. Its just a hard piece of plastic with 4 or 5 bolts. My best guess it would be about 150 at the dealer.
