Hello All

Im trying to replace the gas tank hinge.
Hinge is connected to the flap with sping.
But can't get the damn thing on the car.
There are 4 holes. Are rubber grommets meant to be in there??

I think they are rivets. Somewhere I read where you can drill out the rivets and reinstall with screws.

 

You pretty much grab and pull or tap the center pins out of the holes and it will fall off.
