I am considering the Hankook Ventus V4 ES H105 225/50 R17 on my 2005 S80 2.5. Does anyone have any feedback, history or knowledge on this brand? If so, are they quiet? Handling? Tire wear? Comperable to Michelin Pilot? Thank you.

 

Check the Tire Rack survey averages - they have a nice color coded display with like 10 evaluation categories for each tire. I doubt the Hankooks can measure up, but you can also find something better there.

 

From my recent experience, the Continental ExtremeContact line is the best you can find..

I have a 2000 S80 put Firestone Firehawks on mine 2 years ago and love them. They are a hard tire but am getting great mileage on them. Got them on sale for 425.00 out the door also I have 17 inch wheel package.

 

Dealerships now use Hankooks, competitive tire.

 

I still wouldn't be so generous as to compare hankook to the top brands...

Just go on tirerack and 1010tires to read reviews... Its far behind most of the continental, michelin, goodyear, yokohama etc
