I just purchased a 2000 s80 t6 and was doing some cleanig on the interior yesterday and had the doors open for quite a while. well I ran the battery down so far the car would not start, so I checked the terminals and found both loose, no problem so I tightend both up and put the car on the charger. later i started the car with no problem but the SRS ight stayed on. Is there a way to get the light to turn off without going to the stealership?

anyways, try to disconnect the battery, both terminals for half hour, maybe pull srs fuse.

 

Dealership for sure... had this happen after the guys at my local car audio shop messed up and caused some faults in the car. Only way to reset the message is to go in and have them hook up the proprietary volvo system.
