I just bought this s80 a couple of months ago. I though it was a good buy everything worked good and it looked new. Now I am having all sorts of stuff go haywire. And I would like to know it this is normal for this car. 1 The air conditioning turns on all by itself without the key in the car. (which by the way draines my battery) Second I get a ticking that I thought was an injector, but now I am leaning to a valve, every once and a while I will start the car and one of the cylinders stops firing. Is this something that I can just adjust and it will go away or is this a common problem with this year... any info on this year volvo s80 would be awesome. I am a new to volvo and I feel like I am in over my head with this car.

 

as to the air conditioner fan its a common thing in the car it does it to dry the condenser i think or something else so it is normal..
the ticking sound and the misfire u getting can lead u to a bad coil but first check the cables and the if the check engine light is on have the codes check of not try frist changing spark plugs.
