identifying this part

Please check the images and can body what part is this, its function and why it is oily.

Plus where is the AC Dryer location in my Volvo s80 1999.

Will appreciate answers.

The drier should be along side the condenser, passenger front.

Is there a chance the oil is leaking from one or both of the cam seals down the front of the engine

i say spray that area with a brake cleaner or throttle body cleaner to remove all that grease and then once all cleaned just wait and see where the leak 1st appears
