My 02 T6 started hesitating and shuddering one day like crazy. I also heard all the inner / outter cv problems with the popping and clicking on turns etc. So I popped open my hood and took a look at the coil harness/wiring and everything checked out. I had just put in new plugs and coils so that wasn't going to be the issue.

As I was putting the charge air pipes back on I looked at the motor mount. It was completely shredded and gone.

TASCAPARTS.com if you want OEM cheaper than fcp and ipd check them out. I use all three sites but this one had what I needed when I needed it (shipping is iffy though).

Bought the upper and lower engine/torque mounts. The tranny torque mount was actually broken completely. While I was under there I noticed considerable leakage from the seal on the tranny filter as well.

I replaced the mounts and the hesitation and general lameness went away. However, because my tires are balanced and the vibration is persistent I'm starting to believe it is the inner CV joints so I'm having the whole axle assy replaced for 500 bucks. Should solve the problem.

 

just remember, if you order something on thursday night for 2nd day air, don't expect anyone at FCP or Tasca to actually get it to UPS on Friday.. Also expect to receive all 2nd day air from these clowns 4-5 days later.

 

So did you get your vibration issue resolved? I'm having a similar problem now...
