message light

can anyone help.... I have a 2000 S80 i just got a message "engine system service required" can I still drive this for a few days until I get it to the shop? Gina

Is the check engine light on and are you getting any noticeable driving condition changes? If not, you should be okay to continue for a few days until you get can it serviced.

no engine light and it drives the same..... does it just need servicing? just had the oil changed on sat.

Hi, how do i get codes and how are they used or inputted?,sorry about this i have the same problem but the car is going great since i bought it 3 month ago with no service or anything done to it!,.cheers. ted.

OBD computer... port under the driver's side panel, straight down from steering wheel and to the left a tad...

If its the service engine light there is nothing wrong it just comes on at preset times. You can clear it follow this link for instructions
