Default need help on replacing rearview mirror

My friend just bought a 99 T6. The inside rearview mirror needs to be replaced, its the auto dim one and the oil has all leaked out so its hard to see in it during the day. Do you guys have any idea on where we can find a new one? No junk yards around here have cars this new, and the dealer will probably be too pricey. Also, good place to find the fog lights glass lenses?
Thanks, Veso

yah dealer is pricey, just 3 weeks ago, maybe less, the part costed close to 530$-included install, that was for a brandnew part too...Mine was done under warranty however..

For that money, you're better off tinting your windows.

I would do what ever it takes to not pay that much for a mirror. I even would have a mirror cut for it and glue it on.

If you aren't too worried about having auto dim, just do what I did when my mirror looked like a lake....purchase mirrored tape, trim it and slap it on over original. Quality tape works just like a real mirror with no wrinkles, $15 fix. Other option is to unplug battery, disconnect mirror, take mirror to good mirror replacement shop and they will fabricate a new mirror for ya!

I went into my car today to notice that my self-dimming rear-view mirror is almost entirely dimmed out besides a small patch on the top.. The mirror was fine last night when I parked the car so I really cannot figure out what would cause this to have happened overnight. Anyway, I was wondering what are the solutions that I can look at now. I have heard of some of the prices of these mirrors (over $500) so I was wondering if there was any other potential solution to this...

any and all help will be much much apreciated..
thanks
