New Purchase 2005 S80 T6 for 10k - Reliability and Value
Bought a 2005 S80 T6 with 77k miles for 10k out the door in LA, Cali. Had a local shop change the brakes & rotors (Akebono), fuel filter, air filter, front struts and check engine light (replaced MAF). Put about $1600 into it so far...
I am new to Volvos. What can I expect? Is this car a keeper. Is it true that transmission fluid doesn't need to be changed. Mine looks sharp and has HID, heated seats and 18" rims. I think I have top of the line. Worried about reliability & longevity though...
Any info. is welcome (especially from 03-06 S80 owners with mileage) Thanks guys~

My '05 with 50k has been one of the most trouble free cars i've had - but at that few miles most are trouble free.
Most Volvo's require higher maintenance than a japanese car but will last forever (or at least it will feel that way!).
Stay on maintenance schedule, don't use crappy cheap parts and you'll grow to love your Volvo.
