Default Noise from climate control area

I have a 2000 S80 I recently purchased and I'm trying to figure out what the noise is that you can hear as soon as you get in the car without turning on the ignition.

As soon as I get in and shut the door I hear a buzzing noise coming from the radio/hvac control area. It last for about a minute then stops.

What is it?

When the car is running it can still be faintly heard.
When I turn the key off and remove it the buzzing continues for about 50 seconds, first the interior lights turn off then 20 sec. later the buzzing stops.

What needs to be repaired? Not a sound I want to live with!
Hopefully this is not considered "normal".

Thats the after blow fan. It runs to prevent condensation from building up in the AC system. Someone can confirm but I'm pretty sure it's normal. The same things happens on my car.

I never heard of such a thing! It's annoying as hell.
