Default OEM radio, does it use external amp?
Does anyone know if the stock 6 channel radio set-up in the S80 uses an external amp? Or does all of the power come from the head-unit?

I believe it is all from the head unit. You can add an external amp.

If you have an amp it will be under the passenger seat.
