Default the official start off...

I changed my spark plugs a while back (3 months ago), with NGK's and they are working great. But Lately, its taking extra hold for it to start so if there is usually five clicks then start, it takes 10 now. Im wondering if there is something wrong? The plugs when put in were set to the right mm but I didnt have a torque tool so I tightened them to ask much force it was to loosen the original ones.

It could be your starter or battery too.

your starter is likely on the way out
has nothing to do with the plugs

Do you have an aftermarket alarm or remote starter? If so, the connections could be shorting out (sometimes people install the connections up close to the ignition switch), otherwise, I'm not sure there is much there that would cause a high level of heat, but you could always check the connections at the switch to make sure.
