Hi everyone,

I’m hoping that this is an easy diagnosis, but we’ll see. Hopefully someone can help! Anyways, I noticed the other day that there were oil stains on the top (yes, the top) of my engine under the engine cover. The engine Mount even appears to have some oil on it. There is about a teaspoon of standing oil sitting near one of the 6 black covers (I assume spark plugs?). I stretched two pictures below to hopefully help (I also got my oil changed about 1,000 miles ago). Even worse, I went to check the oil and it had what appears to be a strong gas smell to it, which is bad. It’s not leaking anywhere else, no drips on the ground, and no other abnormal signs that anything is wrong. What do you all think is wrong? What should I do? My car had 161k miles right now. Thank you!

 

have you done a compression check? you can have an oil analysis done to see how bad it is...
