Hi,

Volvo s80 1999 2.9 Non Turbo with 120,000 Miles on it.

Please see attached picture and I marked with red color air nipple coming from PCV Box.

I have to clean this AIR Hose attached to Throttle body every after 10,000 miles because oil air packets coming from PCV Box into this Big Air hose and makes hose and throttle body dirty with oil deposits.

My PCV Box is working good, no smoke from dip stick, no leaking seals, changed about 20,000 Miles ago.

If I remove the air pipe coming from PCV then I see the smoke coming out of oil dip stick.


Any ideas, or its a manufacturing fault.
