Car has 124,000 miles, oil changed every 7000 miles with synthetic oil. What is the likelihood of the oil trap being plugged up? Car is used mostly on long trips, not much short run driving.

Dealer says the oil pan is a honeycom and can get clogged. Has anyone ever heard of an oil pan getting clogged?
