car is throwing a P1550 code, speed sensor, idle control etc. I believe all this is pointing back to the abs module which has gone bad. Will having the abs unit rebuilt fix this code?

 

P1550 is code ECM-510F, vehicle speed signal. I would have it scanned with a volvo scanner before rebuilding the ABS module.There are other things that can trigger this code. It could be a signal too high, too low or lost all together. I don't know what type of scanner you used to pull the code, but you will see much much more with a volvo scanner.
