So some may remember my thread from a while back about my "Murdered Out" Volvo S80...

Well, after recovering financially from both the stealership blowing the motor in my car, and a recent hospitalization for multiple pulmonary emobi.... PROGRESS IS BACK!!!

Decided to paint my wheels black. I was VERY skeptical... but after my room mate persuading me... we painted them tonight and wow... it looks GREAT.

With the lugs in chrome, and the center caps, its just enough contrast to not be "too much black" My fear was it would look like a big black circle...

This will have to do until I can afford some Pegasus replicas.

I'll post a better picture tomorrow in the day light, this is under some horrible sodium lighting...

Now I really can't decide whether or not to do window tint next or get springs... I'm looking to drop about an inch or so. I'm not really going for performance... this is just a daily driver. For fun... I have my room mate's 740 TIC... getting to become a sweet ride.

Nice work..... I'm not a fan of the coke bottle wheels, but they do look better in black!

 

I hate them as well. I just can't afford 4 new 17" wheels and tires right now... so I gotta do it the redneck way

BTW, where did you get the aftermarket grille for your s80 I can't seem to find one anywhere!
