Default PCV Oil Trap

I have a 99' S80 T-6. I am going to service the PCV Oil Trap and related hoses, seals, etc. I know it's needed because I have a leak down there, so while I'm digging around down there, I may as well replace the trap. I have 146M on it. My questions to someone who may know is, do I really need to spend $300 on the entire kit, or can I just buy the $36 trap, intake manifold gasket and replace hoses and seals as required? Seems to me that some of the heavy tubing that's included with the kit really should still be useable, unless it's all plugged up. Is there anything particular, other than the trap itself that should really be replaced?
Thanks

I have an XC90, and looking at my options as well.
What did you end up doing? I was thinking the same, just replacing the broken hose, and the oil trap. The rest seems to be heavy tubing....

Actually, I ended up selling the car. This was one of way too many issues and I had an opportunity to sell it for what I paid, so off it went. Probably my last Volvo...
