Hello ron1,

I must say...its the cheapest ECU i have ever heard in my life. Anyway, i've email to them asking the installing instructions to my S80 2001 2.0T coz m eager to know how it works. Previously i was running a piggybag ECU....the brand is PERFECT POWER SMT6 on my Mitsubishi Evolution 3 & has whoop up to >330bhp including hardware modifications :-).....i'll keep you posted on this BlackStorm Performance chip once i receive their email.

Hello dkvcopy,

Please don't do it!

7 Negatives in the last month, alot more positives though. These would be people I suspect just left positive feedback about receiving the item on time, etc, before installing it. I believe the 7 Negatives would be people who actually waited to install and the left the feedback. Just my 2 cents.

Negative Feedback Left in last month:

- complete crap! worst seller. could have picked this resister up anywhere. (MAZDA MX3 1992-1995 1994 1993)
- no power gains and an allaround waste odf money (VOLKSWAGEN RABBIT 2007-2008)
- fried cpu (SCION TC)
- SCAM Send you a $1 Resistor & Charge $6 shipping and send in envolpe with stamp (MAZDA 3 2004-2008 2007 2006 2005)
- No way in hell did it add 75hp and I might be getting worse gas mileage. (MERCURY COUGAR 1990-2002 2001 2000 99)
- If you leave negative feedback your return is voided. WASTE OF MONEY (FORD F-150 1989-2008 2007 2006 2005 04)
- Worst product ever throttle cuts out randomly, reverse kills motor rip off!!! ()
- ordered part in 3 months ago in nov never recieved it (PONTIAC FIREBIRD, TRANS AM 1990-2002)
- Save Your Money!! It is only a Resistor that doesn't work. Total Rip Off!! (FORD F-150, F-250 1990-2008 2007 2006)

Hi Killa cam & S70driver,

Don't worry...i know its a scam...i was just trying to get them to email me the installation diagram of their so called BLACKSTORM PERFORMANCE CHIP. Thanks guys for your advice & detail info. Now my question is ;-

1) Has anyone ever tried or install this ECU brand BSR PPC into their S80 2001 2.0T = http://www.bsruk.co.uk/tuningkits.asp?id=806
2) Or this piggybag ECU Brand DASTEK UNICHIP Q VERSION into their S80 2001 2.0T = http://www.dastek.co.za/

I know dastek unichip works best on japanese turbo cars like mitsubishi evolution, Mazda RX7, nissan skyline.... volvo i don't know coz there's to many electronic stuff. M afraid the tuner will mess up the volvo's standard ECU setting even it is a plug & play module. So if anyone is currently using either one of the two brands mentioned above....kindly give me your opinion. No advise needed on hardware modification pls as i had enough of it from my previous Mitsubishi Evolution...coz my wife says that i spent to much money on performance parts :-)

I have a BSR PPC installed on my S80 2.5T. It works wonders. Like a different car. They claim about +40 hp, but I swear it's more, especially on a cold day.

Hi Bluedevilbill,
M glad that u had replied... as in my country no one dares to try this BSR PPC....m wondering ;-

1) The installation is easy rite ?
2) Is it Plug & Play ?
3) So...just asking once there is a software upgrade...u just simply upload it from the internet free of charge. My question is...are there any difference in performance.

I've read everything i need to know abt BSR PPC on their website. I just need a clearer response from you as m abit old fashion...m so used toget the tuners to tune it for me manually on the DASTEK UNCHIP Q VERSION whereas the BSR PPC tunes & programme itself automatically

Sorry, Ron, I wasn't trying to be hard on you. I just think this deal is a scam. Usually, if it sounds too good to be true it is. Just my 2 cents
