Hey tech,
I've had my volvo for two years now, and not too long ago my lights began to dim. For example if I'm driving at night and I adjust my seat I can see the headlights dimming a bit. Or if I roll up the windows I can see my dash dim, same when the turn signal is flashing. THe only other time I've had power problems was this winter when my battery died twice in the cold. Could it be that my battery is going bad, or am I going to have to look for an alternator sometime soon? I have a 2000 S80 Non turbo w/95K

Have a load test done on the battery and charging system.
Do you have a Multi-Meter?

Most parts stores will test it for you.

What is the Alt. output?

It should be around 13.5 or so.
