Default Project Complete? Blacked out S80...

Had the tint done today, and resprayed the rear tail lights with tint.

Here's the "final" outcome. I'm still heavily debating lowering the car about 3/4 of an inch. Also going to fix the grille so you don't still see the impression from the factory volvo badging.

Doing the exhaust as soon as Uncle Sam pays me my tax return. Nothing too loud, just adding a bit more bite to it when you really get on the gas.

What do you think? I understand if it's not your thing. Not everyone likes it. I do however get alot of compliments. Just like most people say... you really have to see it in person. I don't know... I've just absolutely fell in love with this car.

Looks good. Like you said, not really my thing but it does look good. I would definitely look into lowering it about 1.5".

Does anyone have problems knowing what sort of car it is or can they figure it out instantly?

It gets called a Lincoln LS from time to time. A lot of people also think its a cop car from the front. We have alot of chargers, Camaros, etc undercover cop cars, all with dark tint.

I was going to put 17" black Pegasus wheels on it but honestly I like the black coke bottle wheels in black.

I don't want the car to look like Its slammed. 1.5 seems like alot. I like the factory tire size... just want to fill some of the fender space.
Just want to increase the stance, make it a bit more aggressive looking.

Add some Fender Flares and extra wide tires..that will give you an aggressive look...

Well this thread has inspired me! Hah.

I would like to roll the fenders when I lower it. I just ordered one of the "M3" style rear lip spoilers. Should be here in 3 days or so.

I'm going to see if 225 profile tires will fit. (new tires next week) Also thinking about a small wheel spacer for the back as they seem to be tucked pretty far back.

Opinions?

I think you should paint the plastic color trim to the same color as your car.

You need to pick up the orange bumper markers in clear, then tint those, take off/paint the chrome trim on the sides, black out the headlight housings on the inside where it's not needed to reflect and then get a blacked out license plate cover (whether illegal or not, it would help the car TONS). Otherwise you're pretty set.

Looks pretty good.

I just tinted my tail lights on my S80 today. I didn't go that dark however, the cops in seattle don't like that much.

I ended up puting some 18s black rims with crome inserts. I, now looking back on it should have put 19s oit but they wanted a lot more for them. So I have a question, dose lowing it make it that much more of a bumpy ride on the inside?
I only payed $750 for rims and tires. And 19s would have been like 1800. I didn't then the extra 1 inch was work a g.

Default Rim sizes

I have 18's on my S80 & i cant make extremely sharp turns i get a bit of a rub on the inside so the 19's I think would def rub & you do feel more of the road because you going to have to go a lower profile tire.

Please remove the tailight tint, it's not just a safety hazard to you, but for other drivers!!! I am not usually so negative, but I really hope you get a nice ticket for them.

You should pickup the black Heico mesh grille i'm selling for the s80... that would give the exterior a bit more of a clean look than the stock grille blacked out.
