Default Relaxing turn signal

Any have guidance? It works but the lens is broken. passenger side. I guess I remove the fender well liner and maybe the bumper cover. I don't see any screws etc not the replacement unit and it is not clear how I can remove the old one once I get to it.

Thanks

Plastic tab beside back of headlight assy holds it in place. Buy a new one. They get brittle and break.

Default Replacing turn signal

Thank you. I bought the whole turn signal assembly. There are tabs that appear to slide into something (probably a slot on the head light assembly). Do I need something else?

I am assuming I have to take off the wheel well liner and at least pull out the one end of the bumper cover enough to release the existing turn signal housing tabs. I have the volvo software so I will review their procedure. Lot of work to replace a turn signal assembly. I am thinking I might replace the whole head lamp/fog lamp wiring loom while in there (the plugs get really brittle over time and I have spliced in a new plug but would prefer to replace it all if it is not that hard once I have the bumper cover off.

Anyone have an opinion on whether the round cap on the end of our headlight assembly (the one you remove to get to the bulb) is creating a problem by trapping too much heat which deteriorates the wire and plugs over time? I am thinking I may leave it off. Any reason not to?
Thanks again.

It's easy no need to remove liner or bumper cover. Open hood push down on plastic tab with screw driver and wiggle out the turn signal unit. Replace.

Very easy to replace, open hood, find tab next to headlamp, pull/push away from locked position and push light outwards.
