Replacing/fixing side-view mirror?
The drivers-side side-view mirror on my 2000 S80 was recently hit in a parking lot, cracking the black plastic trim around the mirror, but otherwise doing little damage (the mirror itself, motor, housing, and courtesy lights are fine - it's just the black plastic trim that's damaged). I'd like to try to repair the mirror by replacing the damaged trim piece, but I've been unable to find any diagrams on the internet showing what the various parts are called and how they are assembled together (I have been able to find diagrams like these for my other cars, just not my S80). I doubt I need a whole mirror, including all of the internal mechanics - just a replacement trim, if it is available. Does anyone know of such a diagram or a part list for the side-view mirror?
Also, has anyone attempted something similar before? I haven't taken the mirror off yet to examine it, but it seems as though it's held on by one bolt behind a black cap on the inside of the door. I'm wondering how difficult such a repair or replacement would be, and whether it would require removing the inside door panel or not.
Thanks for any assistance and advice!

I just posted instructions on another thread, but no pics sorry. I can fax them though. https://volvoforums.com/forum/showth...051#post222051
