Right side tail lights out
I have no power to the right side tail lights (position light & brake light). I'd suspect a short somewhere, since on occasion I have power going to the outlet. I just can't find where the short is. There's power to the right inside trunk light.

Look for a post from Killercam. I posted a diagram in there for the relays and fuses check the relays first.

RE: Right side tail lights out
I've seen the name before, I can find my posts, but none by this name. I can't even find the name in a general search, even though it's in this thread. I'll check all the relays tomorrow.

Sorry, didn't work.

I assume you already checked all the bulbs?

RE: Right side tail lights out
There isn't even power to the outlet to either the brake or positioning lights.

No...I switched the relays and there's still no power to the plugs on the right. The left side works fine.

See if these will help at all. I tried to get everything I could.

RE: Right side tail lights out
I was about to go through the diagram when I figured I'd check all the lights again and now I realize the 3rd brake lamp is out. Somewhere I had read these bulbs get replaced with cheaper autozone lamps that cause problems with other lights. So how in the world do you get to it?

RE: Right side tail lights out
The LEDS 3rd brake light really never burns out.
I have never seen one burn out. You have to drop the rear of the headliner to get to it. |
