Default S70 to S80 ETM swap
Will an ETM from a 1999 S70 fit on a 1999 S80 2.9?

I think my ETM is starting to fail and I sourced an S70 one. It's past the 10 year warranty on the ETM it looks like.

oh and is the ETM the same thing as the throttle body?

Yes it will fit as it's the same part number.

Edit: Whether the programming is the same is beyond my knowledge. I'll try to look it up.

ETM= Electronic Throttle Module aka Throttle Body.

Is the programming the same for a 99 S70 and 99 V70? Both are non-turbos.
