I'm buying a 2005 P2 163hp D5 S80 with a dying transmission. I was thinking about doing a manual swap since I gotta change the tranny anyway. How difficult and costly is this procedure?

 

I don't think it would be all that different from the swaps people have done on 850s. The most common piece of advise there was to a) have a donor car for all the parts like pedals, shifter, trim pieces etc. and b) research how to bypass the PNP switch to allow the car to start and run.
