I have a 2001 S80 TDI.
I have started having an intermittent problem.......
The electrics in the door (mirrors,windows, rear window locks, central locking) just stop working !!
This can appear and disappear from 1 day to 1 week. When the remote is operated to lock the car, the rear doors and passenger door lock but drivers door has be locked manually by key. My mechanic says there is power in the block going to the door switches when the electrics are not working and my dealer says he hasn't a clue what is causing it !! Any suggestions please ??

 

Where the wiring goes into the body of the car there is problems with loose connections.
Either check there or have it checked.

 

Just started having the exact same problem with my S60 AWD. What did the problem end up being? How much for the repair?
